Summer came and went, fall is almost drawing to a close and winter is definitely happening. The best perfect time to reminisce about sunshine, the Mediterranean and some beautiful beaches.
Our photo story takes you to Thessaloniki and the Chalkidiki peninsula in Northern Greece. Thessaloniki is Greece’s second largest city, a vibrant, young university town where for centuries, cultures and religions have met and lived alongside each other.
Chalkidiki is popular both among tourists that seek some easy days in the sun and those that look for some more substantial discoveries. Aristotle was born here, and Mount Athos with its monastery still constitutes an autonomous region.
