For being a rather small town, Antwerp has a lot to offer. Amazing stores, cool hotels, and lots of great places to eat. We visit a lot of these places in our guide 12hrs in Antwerp, but there are of course many more places in town that are worth a visit. One of them is Graanmarkt 13.

Graanmarkt 13 is a special House, where every floor tells a story. It’s a fashion store, a restaurant, a gallery and even a vacation apartment.

In the downstairs restaurant, you can have lunch or dinner. The ground floor showcases the latest fashion from brands like Isabel Marant, Sonia by Sonia Rykiel and Marni, as well as from newcomers. Perfumes, accessories and homeware by Maison Martin Margiela 13, Bauhaus and Nymphenburg are also on sale. And the open space on the first floor hosts new fashion talent and artist’s installations.

The remarkable concept occupies an entire townhouse in the center of Antwerp, with the traditional building being reworked by Vincent Van Duysen, one of Belgian’s best architects. Originally, owners Tim Van Geloven and Ilse Cornelissens had planned to include a bed & breakfast on the top floors. These plans changed when they saw the archtitect’s plans developing, and they decided to turn all available space into one luxurious apartment. Described as ’their best kept secret’, this apartment is now available for rent.

The Graanmarkt 13 apartment comes with hotel service which includes breakfast that’s served in the dining room every morning. The 280 square meters space is divided into two floors and has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a 60 square meters big terrace overlooking the beautiful courtyard and the historic city centre.
