Yes, this is an advertising stunt by a big beer company. But while watching this video, we just couldn't help but smile. The idea is just too good:

Heineken put up a 'Departure Roulette' in the check-in section of JFK airport. People who dared to push the big, red button got a (more or less) exotic location randomly assigned to them – think Laos, Thailand or Portugal – and won a trip there. The catch? They had to cancel their original plans and leave for their new destination right then and there.
