Imagine you owned a fashion label. You produce beautiful clothes for women and men. After a while, you add accessories to the mix, producing hats and socks and candles. What’s next? Apparently: coffee!
French brand Kitsuné just opened their first coffee shop in their hometown Paris (the very first Café Kitsuné is located in Tokyo), and now, one of our favorite Danes has done the same.
Henrik Vibskov, fashion designer from Copenhagen and prolific artist, has just opened Den Plettede Gris (‘The Spotted Pig’) in his hometown. The small café looks exactly like his beloved designs, with lots of colors, lines at weird angles and elaborate wood constructions on the walls. The menu is straightforward. Den Plettede Gris serves just coffee, soda, wine and beer, and the only available food item on the menu is ice cream. It’s located right next to Vibskov’s workshop, a bit off the city center on Papirøen (Paper island), a part of Christianshavn right behind Christiana.
