We’re always on the lookout for unique hotels that turn your stay away from home into something special, an adventure in its own right. Artist Residence London is such a place.

The team behind it runs two other properties in Penzance, Cornwall and in Brighton. The Artist Residence London is their third project, and it stays true to its name. The carefully restored building is outfitted with sourced artwork and individual pieces of furniture, lovingly furnished with lots of attention to detail. Each one of the just 10 rooms is different, but they are all smartly designed. The vibe here is relaxed and friendly and quite different from its beautiful yet rather stiff surroundings in the Pimlico neighborhood. The ground floor restaurant is an exciting collaboration between Artist Residence and Michael Bremner, the creator of the award winning 64 Degrees restaurant in Brighton. There’s a cocktail bar in the basement called 64 Below with a talented barman at its helm.

Artist Residence offers free wi-fi and a lot of hotel for your buck. Victoria Station, Belgravia and Sloane Square are just a 5-minute walk away.
