After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, we proudly present to you our new guide! 12hrs in East London takes you to one of our favorite areas in the British capital, from cool shops to cozy cafés and from busy markets to the best food. The East End has a very special vibe to it, very different than the tourist hotspots in the city center. It's more artsy, younger and still a bit rough. But it is rapidly changing as well.
More and more established companies are moving to Shoreditch and Hoxton, pushing those seeking a more avant-garde and raw experience towards adjacent areas like Dalston. In our guide, we tried to find a nice balance between the old and the new East, and we hope you enjoy our tour.
In another guide coming soon, we'll hit some of the other highlights of the city, but for now, let's head East! Here is where we'll be going in our very first 12hrs in East London:
10am The Hoxton – A wonderful hotel in the middle of Shoreditch
10.15am Ozone Coffee Roasters – A breakfast for champions, and great coffee to go with it.
11.30am Regent's Canal – Take a beautiful walk along the water.
12pm Broadway Market – Food, drinks and some other beautiful things make this market a favorite.
12.45pm Artwords Bookshop – Art books, some great fiction and the best selection of magazines we've seen in a long time.
Columbia Road Flower Market – An alternative to Broadway Market if you visit on a Sunday, full of beautiful flowers.
2.30pm Goodhood Store – Affordable, stylish clothes for both boys and girls.
3pm Present London – Menswear at its best (and good coffee, again).
3.30pm Anthem – More menswear, this time, with a Japanese twist.

4.15pm The Albion – A shop, café and bakery that will surely whet your appetite.
4.30pm A.P.C. & Aesop – Not unique to this neighborhood, of course, but always worth a visit.

5pm The Vintage Emporium – Our favorite vintage shop near Brick Lane.
5.15pm Boxpark – The curious case of the Pop-Up-mall.

7pm Dishoom – Indian food and super friendly service that makes you happy.
8.30pm Queen of Hoxton – Let's have cocktails at the rooftop bar!
10pm Pub Life – Let's see what's on tap.
Bonus: Brick Lane Beigel Bake – The 12hrs are over, but there's always time (and room) for a bagel!
